Some people believe that the education children get from their family is more important than the education they get from school. In my opinion, I mostly agree with this statement, although school education is also very important.
Firstly, family is the first place where children learn. From a very young age, children learn how to speak, how to behave and how to treat other people from their parents. Parents teach children important values such as honesty, kindness and respect. These values will stay with children for their whole life and help them to become good people. For example, if parents always help their neighbours, their children will also learn to help others. Secondly, children spend a lot of time with their family, especially in the first years of their life, so family has a very strong influence on their personality.
On the other hand, school education is also important. At school, children learn academic subjects such as mathematics, science and languages, which parents may not be able to teach. Teachers are trained to teach these subjects in an effective way. In addition, at school children learn how to work with other children, follow rules and make friends. These skills are very useful for their future.
In my opinion, family education is more important because it builds the character of a child. A child who has good knowledge but bad behaviour will not be successful in life. However, both family and school should work together to educate children.
In conclusion, I agree that the education from family is more important than school education, because family teaches children values and good behaviour, which are the basis of their life.
