Some people believe that women should be allowed to join the army, the navy and the air force in the same way as men. I strongly agree with this opinion.
Firstly, women should have the same rights as men. In a modern society, men and women are equal, so women should be able to choose any career they want, including a military career. If a woman wants to serve her country and she is able to do the job, there is no reason to stop her. Not allowing women to join the military is a kind of discrimination.
Secondly, women can do many jobs in the military very well. Modern armies do not only need physical strength. They also need people with skills in technology, medicine, communication, intelligence and leadership. Many women are excellent pilots, engineers, doctors and officers. For example, in many countries such as the USA, Israel and Norway, women serve in the military and do important jobs successfully.
Thirdly, having women in the military can bring benefits. Women can bring different ideas and skills to the team. In some situations, for example in peacekeeping missions, female soldiers can communicate more easily with local women and children.
However, some people worry that women are not as physically strong as men, so they may not be suitable for some combat roles. I think the military should have the same physical tests for men and women, and anyone who passes the tests should be allowed to do the job.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that women should be allowed to join the army, navy and air force like men, because they have equal rights and they can do military jobs very well.
