Some people think that a person's culture comes from the country where they were born, while others believe that the country of origin is not very important. In this essay, I will discuss both views and give my opinion.

On the one hand, many people believe that our culture is defined by our country of origin. When we grow up in a country, we learn its language, traditions, food and religion from our family and society. For example, a person who grows up in Japan will usually speak Japanese, celebrate Japanese festivals and follow Japanese customs, such as bowing to show respect. These things become part of their identity, and they often keep them even if they move to another country later.

On the other hand, other people think that the country of origin has only a small influence. Nowadays, many people move to other countries to study or work, and they learn new cultures. For example, children of immigrants often grow up with the culture of their new country more than the culture of their parents' country. In addition, because of the internet and globalisation, young people around the world watch the same films, listen to the same music and follow the same trends. Therefore, their culture is influenced by many countries, not only one.

In my opinion, the country of origin is still very important, especially for the language and values that people learn as children. However, I think a person's culture can change during their life because of their experiences and the people they meet.

In conclusion, although the country where people come from has a strong influence on their culture, I believe that other factors such as travel, education and globalisation also play an important role.

There is debate about whether a person's culture is primarily determined by their country of origin or whether this has only a limited influence. In my view, while one's country of origin plays an important role, culture is increasingly shaped by a range of other factors.

Those who believe that culture is defined by country of origin argue that the environment in which we grow up has a profound and lasting effect on us. From childhood, we absorb the language, values, customs and beliefs of the society around us, often without realising it. These cultural influences shape how we communicate, what we eat, how we celebrate important events and even how we view concepts such as family and authority. Many people who emigrate continue to maintain the traditions of their homeland for the rest of their lives, which suggests that these early influences run deep.

On the other hand, others argue that country of origin has only a minor influence, particularly in today's interconnected world. Many people now live, study or work abroad, and they often adopt elements of new cultures. The children of immigrants, for example, frequently identify more strongly with the culture of the country in which they grow up than with that of their parents. In addition, globalisation and the Internet expose people everywhere to international films, music, food and ideas, creating shared global influences. Within a single country, too, there are often significant regional, religious and generational differences.
