Some people believe that workers aged 65 or over should retire, while others think that they should be allowed to continue working. In my opinion, older workers should be able to choose whether to retire or to keep working, depending on their health and their wishes.

On the one hand, there are some reasons why people think older workers should retire at 65. Firstly, when older people retire, their jobs become available for young people. In many countries, youth unemployment is high, so this can help young people to find jobs. Secondly, some older workers may have health problems, and they may not be able to work as quickly or as well as before, especially in jobs that need physical strength. Thirdly, after working for many years, older people deserve to rest and enjoy their lives, for example by spending time with their grandchildren, travelling or doing hobbies.

On the other hand, there are also good reasons for older people to continue working. Firstly, many people aged 65 are still healthy and active, because people live longer today than in the past. Secondly, older workers have a lot of experience and knowledge, which is very valuable for companies. They can also teach and help younger workers. Thirdly, some older people need to keep working because they do not have enough money for their retirement. In addition, working helps older people to stay active, both physically and mentally, and to feel useful.

In my opinion, there should not be a fixed retirement age for everyone. People who are healthy and want to work should be allowed to continue, while those who are tired or unhealthy should be able to retire.

In conclusion, I believe that older workers should have the right to choose whether to retire or continue working at the age of 65.

308 từ. So với bài 6.0: lập luận sâu hơn, từ vựng chính xác và đa dạng hơn, câu phức dùng tự nhiên hơn.

There is ongoing debate about whether workers aged 65 and over should be required to retire or allowed to continue working. While there are valid arguments on both sides, I believe that older people should be free to decide for themselves, based on their health, circumstances and preferences.

Those who believe that older employees should retire at 65 put forward several arguments. Firstly, retirement creates job opportunities for younger people, which is particularly important in countries with high youth unemployment. Secondly, as people age, their physical strength and sometimes their speed of learning may decline, which can affect their performance, particularly in physically demanding jobs. Thirdly, after decades of work, older people have earned the right to rest and enjoy their remaining years with family and friends, pursuing hobbies or travelling.

On the other hand, there are strong reasons for allowing older people to continue working. Thanks to improvements in healthcare, many people in their late sixties and seventies remain healthy, energetic and mentally sharp. They also possess valuable experience, expertise and professional networks, and they can mentor younger colleagues. From an economic perspective, ageing populations in many countries are creating labour shortages and placing enormous pressure on pension systems, so encouraging older people to keep working can benefit the economy as a whole. In addition, many individuals need to continue earning because their savings are insufficient, while others simply enjoy their work and find that it gives them purpose, social contact and mental stimulation.
