Global warming is one of the biggest problems in the world today. Some people think that the international community should do more to deal with this problem. In my opinion, I strongly agree that countries around the world should work together and do more to stop global warming.

Firstly, global warming is a global problem, so no country can solve it alone. Greenhouse gases from one country affect the climate of the whole world. For example, if one country reduces its pollution but other countries do not, the problem will continue. Therefore, all countries need to work together and make agreements, such as the Paris Agreement, to reduce greenhouse gases.

Secondly, global warming is causing serious problems, and these problems are getting worse. The temperature of the Earth is rising, ice in the North and South Poles is melting, and the sea level is going up. Many countries are suffering from extreme weather, such as floods, storms and droughts. For example, many people in Vietnam and Bangladesh have lost their homes because of floods. If the international community does not act quickly, these problems will become much more serious in the future.

Thirdly, rich countries should help poor countries. Rich countries have produced most of the pollution in the past, and they have more money and technology. They should help poor countries to use clean energy, such as solar and wind power.

However, some people think that it is too expensive to deal with global warming. But I believe that the cost of doing nothing will be much higher.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that the international community should do more to tackle global warming, because it is a serious global problem that needs all countries to work together.

Bài mẫu band 7.0

272 từ. So với bài 6.0: lập luận sâu hơn, từ vựng chính xác và đa dạng hơn, câu phức dùng tự nhiên hơn.

Global warming is widely recognised as one of the most serious threats facing humanity, yet international efforts to address it have so far been insufficient. In my view, the international community must do considerably more to tackle this problem.

The most fundamental reason is that global warming is, by its nature, a global problem. Greenhouse gases emitted in one country affect the climate everywhere, so unilateral action, however ambitious, cannot succeed on its own. If some countries reduce their emissions while others continue to increase theirs, the overall effect will be limited. International cooperation, through agreements such as the Paris Agreement, is therefore essential. However, many countries are currently failing to meet even their existing commitments, and scientists warn that current pledges are not enough to limit warming to safe levels.

Moreover, the consequences of inaction are severe and increasingly visible. Rising temperatures are already causing more frequent heatwaves, droughts, floods and wildfires, threatening food production, water supplies and human health. Low-lying countries and coastal cities face the risk of rising sea levels, which could displace millions of people. The longer action is delayed, the more expensive and difficult it will be to adapt to these changes.
