Social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are very popular among young people today. Some people think these sites have a bad effect on young people and their ability to build personal relationships, while others believe they help people to connect in a good way. I will discuss both sides and give my opinion.

On the one hand, social media can have negative effects. Many young people spend too much time on their phones and computers, so they spend less time talking to their friends and family face to face. As a result, they may not develop good communication skills in real life. In addition, relationships on social media are often not real. Young people may have hundreds of online friends, but only a few close friends in real life. Some young people also feel lonely or depressed when they compare their lives with other people's perfect photos online.

On the other hand, social media can also bring people together. It helps young people to keep in touch with friends and family who live far away, for example in other cities or countries. It also helps people to find new friends who have the same interests or hobbies. For example, a student who likes drawing can join an online group and share pictures with other people. Moreover, shy people may find it easier to talk to others online.

In my opinion, social media has both good and bad effects, and it depends on how young people use it. If they use it carefully and do not spend too much time on it, it can be useful.

In conclusion, although social media can harm young people's relationships, I believe it can also bring people together if it is used in a sensible way.

281 từ. So với bài 6.0: lập luận sâu hơn, từ vựng chính xác và đa dạng hơn, câu phức dùng tự nhiên hơn.

Social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter have become an integral part of young people's lives. While some argue that these platforms damage young people's ability to form genuine relationships, others believe they bring people together. In my view, social media is beneficial when used in moderation, although its risks should not be ignored.

Critics of social media point out that excessive use can undermine face-to-face interaction. Young people who spend hours scrolling through their feeds may have less time for real conversations, which are essential for developing empathy and social skills. Furthermore, online relationships are often superficial; having hundreds of "friends" or followers does not necessarily translate into meaningful connections. There is also growing evidence that constant comparison with idealised images on social media can lead to low self-esteem, anxiety and feelings of isolation.

On the other hand, social media can strengthen relationships in many ways. It allows young people to maintain contact with friends and relatives who live far away, which would have been much more difficult in the past. It also enables them to connect with like-minded people who share their interests, and online communities can provide valuable support for those who feel isolated, such as young people with rare medical conditions or minority interests. For shy individuals, online interaction can be a stepping stone to building confidence in real-life situations.
