Some people love change and enjoy new experiences, while others prefer their lives to stay the same and keep their usual habits. Both approaches have advantages and disadvantages. In this essay, I will compare them and explain why I prefer to enjoy change.

People who like their lives to stay the same have some advantages. Firstly, their lives are stable and predictable, so they feel safe and comfortable. They know what will happen every day, so they do not feel worried or stressed. Secondly, having regular habits can help people to be organised and productive. For example, a person who goes to bed and gets up at the same time every day and follows a fixed routine at work can finish their tasks efficiently. However, their lives may become boring, and they may miss many interesting opportunities. They may also find it difficult to adapt when something changes suddenly, such as losing their job.

On the other hand, people who enjoy change also have advantages. They are open to new experiences, such as travelling to new places, trying new food, learning new skills or changing jobs. These experiences help them to learn, grow and become more confident. They are also better at adapting to new situations, which is important in today's fast-changing world. However, people who change too often may feel unsettled, and they may not finish what they start.

In my opinion, I prefer to enjoy change. I believe that new experiences make life more interesting and help people to develop. For example, when I moved to a new city to study at university, I felt nervous at first, but I made new friends, learned to live independently and became more confident.

In conclusion, both approaches have advantages, but I prefer to welcome change and new experiences, because they help me to learn and grow.

People differ greatly in their attitudes towards change. Some actively seek new experiences and enjoy variety, whereas others prefer stability and are reluctant to alter their established routines. Although both approaches have their merits, I personally prefer to embrace change.

Those who prefer their lives to remain the same enjoy a sense of security and predictability. Familiar routines reduce uncertainty and can lower stress, since people know what to expect each day. Consistent habits can also increase efficiency: someone who follows a fixed schedule for work, exercise and sleep is often highly productive and disciplined. Moreover, people who value stability tend to maintain long-term relationships and commitments. However, this approach has its drawbacks. A life without change can become monotonous, and people who avoid new experiences may miss valuable opportunities for personal and professional growth. They may also struggle to cope when unexpected changes, such as redundancy or illness, are forced upon them.

In contrast, people who welcome change benefit from constant learning and personal development. By travelling, meeting new people, taking up new hobbies or accepting new challenges at work, they broaden their perspectives and acquire new skills. They also tend to be more adaptable, which is a valuable quality in a world where technology and the job market are changing rapidly. On the other hand, those who constantly seek novelty may find it hard to commit to long-term goals and can sometimes make impulsive decisions.
