In 2019, China had the biggest population with 1,439 million people, followed by India with 1,380 million. The USA was third with 331 million, and Indonesia, Pakistan, Brazil and Nigeria had between 206 and 274 million. Bangladesh, Russia and Mexico were at the bottom of the list.
In 2100, India's population is expected to increase to 1,551 million, while China's population will fall to 941 million. Nigeria is predicted to grow a lot to 730 million and become the third largest country. The USA will rise to 478 million and Pakistan to 316 million. New countries such as D.R. Congo, Ethiopia and Tanzania will be in the list, while Bangladesh, Russia and Mexico will not. Indonesia and Brazil will drop to 292 million and 177 million.
