The table shows how many hours per year people of different ages in Someland spent on six leisure activities. The age groups are from teenagers to people in their 70s or older.
Overall, watching TV and videos was the most popular leisure activity for all age groups. Young people spent more time on group activities, while older people spent more time socialising in small groups.
Teenagers spent 1,200 hours a year watching TV and videos, which was the highest figure in the table. This number fell to 400 hours for people in their 30s, and then it increased again to 1,100 hours for people aged 70 or over.
Teenagers and people in their 20s also spent a lot of time socialising with 4 or more people, at 350 hours, and doing group exercise or sport, at 450 and 350 hours. However, these activities decreased with age, and people in their 60s and 70s did no group exercise at all. On the other hand, socialising with 4 or less people was most popular among people in their 30s, at 300 hours. Individual exercise and the cinema were less popular, and the figures changed between 25 and 200 hours.
